03 / About SWEMFTS
About SWE MFTS.
Swedish Military Flight Training System is a proposal for a dedicated lead-in fighter training service.
01
The purpose
The proposal asks how air forces could develop experienced pilots while managing the cost and lead time of training. This website brings the original ideas together as a starting point for discussion.
02
Current scope
SWEMFTS is presented here as a concept. Aircraft modifications, delivery arrangements and financing would need to be developed with prospective customers and partners.
